Don Murphy has had a long and prestigious career first as director of California State Parks; 15 years leading executive seminars at the Aspen Institute; deputy director of the U.S. National Park Service and President and CEO of the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center. He is currently the host and executive producer of the Nature and Science Podcast. He studied for his PhD in Physiology and Pharmacology at the University of California, San Diego where he also earned a bachelors degree in biology.
